Shoe Party: Seychelles Is Here!

Love shoes? I’ve lusted after the quirky, vintage-inspired footwear brand Seychelles for years, as I “window-shopped” on favorite sites like Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. Because shoes are a bit tricky to buy online (at least, for me), Seychelles have always remained frustratingly out of reach—that is, until now!

Thanks to official distributor MARTY+MIRANDA (a partnership between longtime friends Casey Kierulf-Marty and Pia Barrios-Miranda), Seychelles is now available in Manila! (My heart is fluttering, and my wallet is shuddering…)

Says the enterprising pair, “We have always loved the brand, and are the lines’ biggest cheerleaders. We thought it stood out from most footwear brands due to its on-trend styling, fun colors and comfortable construction. The Filipina shopper today is so aware of current trends and we think they this brand most certainly fills a gap in the market!”

Feeding our addiction: Pia Miranda and Casey Marty (wearing Seychelles, of course!) at the Seychelles’ Shoe Party

The current resort-inspired collection is the perfect introduction to Manila, and the full collection is now available at the Seychelles pop-up shop in Itsie-Bitsie boutique this weekend (October 4-6)! Seychelles threw a fabulous little shoe party to kick off their pop-up sale, and here’s a peek at what’s in store:

Seychelles’ Trip The Light Fantastic is super cute in orange, too (see Happy Place).

“Who wouldn’t love ‘What Will They Say’ slipper shoes with the sailboat, or the British flag? How much fun are those shoes? I wish I could wear them all at the same time,” says Casey

My favorite pair (so far…) is the Cayenne, a charming T-strap woven sandal that’s incredibly comfy (I twisted the hubby's arm to get it for me for my advance birthday present). Pia seconds the motion: “It is my absolute favorite go-to shoe. It's a great style for everyday wear, the colors and styling are so striking and they are extremely comfortable. It’s a ‘mom’ shoe hidden in a non-mom style!”

Admittedly, they’re a bit pricey, so you’ll have to think of them in terms of mileage (I can walk all day in my Cayennes and wear them with almost anything, so it’s sulit!)

Itching to try a pair? Come shop at Seychelles’ pop-up store this weekend (October 4-6) at Itsie-Bitsie Boutique, 119 Joya Lofts and Towers, Joya Drive, Rockwell (across Power Plant).

Select styles are also available on the ultra chic local shopping site Seek The Uniq, or you may shop the full range online at www.seychellesph.com. Follow Seychellesph on Instagram and Facebook as well for first dibs on new arrivals!
